Old school jazz, hats and shoes, sunshine! A few weeks ago my friend Lauren and I went to an amazing gathering in Governos Island, we were transported to that era of whites & pastels, flower headbands, old cars, picnic, etc, it was so adorable.

Last night we went to see Moonrise Kingdom and I heartily recommend it! Wes Anderson is a genius!! The characters, story, art direction everything is just so perfect. It's always so satisfying to see his movies, don't miss it!

Atlas Sound + St. Vincent!

Did anybody go to BAM's festival Crossing Brooklyn Ferry this weekend? I'm such a fan of St. Vincent, she was insane! such a powerful woman, electrifying! I play a lot of her music in my studio as well as the other goddess Anna Calvi beautiful, sexy, elegant, both of them play the guitar just incredible, you have to listen to both and LOUD! Anna didn't play there but she is the queen.
Another band, or better to say one man show, is Atlas Sound , that guy playing alone in the middle of the Opera stage, was so breathtaking, I'd never heard of him before and I'm definitely gonna keep track of him from now on.
